All one level, Chestnut is a great cottage for young families and those where stairs are a problem. It is a very sunny self-catering cottage and enjoys the beautiful views of Burton Dassett Hills across the orchard carp. Full-week bookings run from Friday to Friday and short breaks run all year apart from the summer holidays.

Spacious and open plan with a fully fitted oak kitchen/dining/sitting room.
The sitting room has two sofas, Freeview TV with a lovely view of the orchard carp lake and Burton Dassett hills.
Double Bedroom:
French antique double bed with high quality pocket sprung mattress, ensuite bathroom with small bath, shower and toilet.
Twin Room:
Heavy country pine single beds with high quality pocket sprung mattresses, with adjacent wheel in shower and toilet.
Utility Room:
Washer/dryer, airing cupboard and storage area.
Outside:
Private enclosed patio garden with gas barbecue and seating.

Burton Dassett hills is a two mile walk from the cottages and the beacon can be viewed from the farm. A lovely place to visit.

The mill was built in 1664 and blown down in a storm in 1946. The beacon was likely built by Lord of the Manor Sir Edward Belknap in the late 15th century as a tower mill and later used as defensive lookout tower in the English Civil War.
