Our award winning holiday cottages are situated in our 600 acre arable farm, New House Farm, in the village of Knightcote, in south Warwickshire, near to Stratford upon Avon.
Knightcote Village is a hamlet situated in the county of Warwickshire in the parish of Burton Dassett. It is a rural settlement and has a great community spirit. The origin of the name dates back to 1242 when Ralph de knyghtcote held it for ½ a Knight’s fee.
The countryside is open and undulating, only rising in the southeast to the hills of Burton Dassett. It is a great area for arable, sheep, beef and milking farmers, making it superb for those wishing to walk, run or ride and situated right in the middle of the England, with easy access to the motorway network just 5 minutes away.
Although we don’t have a pub in the village, we do have many great pubs and fantastic first class restaurants locally, a couple within walking distance and we also offer a wide range of Home Cooked food delievered straight to your cottage.
We are ideally placed to visit Shakespeare’s Stratford upon Avon and theatre, Warwick Castle and many National trust properties. Banbury and its Famous Cross are just 15 minutes away, Birmingham and Bicester Shopping Centre 30 minutes away and to London just over 1 hours drive away, making Lego land and the Harry Potter studio tour well worth considering when you stay with us.
With cottages that dine up to 16 people and many options for group activities or spa days, including private spa treatments at the cottages, Knightcote is also a great location for friends groups, family get togethers and hen parties.
